there was a blanket in our wardrobe (room 2) wich looked like it hadn't been washed and had some nasty stains on it

Great location to what we were looking. Staff very friendly, left you alone to get on with it, which was good. Rooms were clean and warm in the evenings. Gr8 breakfast. Free parking.
Dislikes:
Family room was clean however, beds were extremely uncomfortable,with springs sticking up. Games room was pretty grim, everything broken or lost. No bar.

the situation of the hotel the staff were very friendly and the room was clean and spacious, the staff were there if we needed anything but also allowed us the privacy we wanted
Dislikes:
the stairs, we were at the very top, and unlike other guest houses in the area there was no lift

The Lancastria Hotel is a friendly family run hotel, ideally situated in the centre of Blackpool. There is FREE car parking to the rear for 9 cars, on a first come first served basis. Our 3* Award, from the Blackpool Tourist board, means that not only is our accommodation, clean, comfortable and well maintained but a greater emphasis has been placed on customer comfort, facilities and services.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Lancastria whether on business or pleasure. The Tower (500 metres), Winter Gardens and Opera House (300 metres), shops, bars and restaurants are all on the doorstep. The beach is a mere 750 metres away. We offer guests a lounge area with pool table.Guests can unwind in our garden patio area.
Further afield the Pleasure Beach with its thrill seeking rides is about 3 miles away along the promenade, and can be reached by taking one of the many trams which stop at the bottom of the road. Blackpool airport is approximately 3 miles away. The nearest mainline station is a 5 minute walk. Preston is a 25 minute car drive and Manchester is 1 hour away.
